Strategy and Business Operations Associate

The Strategy and Business Operations Associate, AWS Marketplace role drives strategy, growth, and operational excellence across the client’s AWS Marketplace business. This role owns high-impact projects from inception through execution and delivery, helping accelerate international pipeline growth, cloud revenue, and customer adoption. The associate serves as a cross-functional connector across sales, product, go-to-market, partner, and AWS teams, translating marketplace and partnership opportunities into creative, high-quality recommendations and measurable business outcomes.


Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of projects from start to delivery to ensure strategies are creative and offer high quality and impactful recommendations.

  • Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics.

  • Lead or support Cloud Marketplace pilots, launch plans, expansion initiatives, and enablement programs across international regions.

  • Align with product, program and go-to-market teams to deliver strategic recommendations, analyses, sales plays, and marketplace adoption initiatives.

  • Coordinate and execute Marketplace private offers and channel private offers authorization

  • Influence and drive consensus across functional leaders by clearly communicating analyses, options, risks, and recommended actions.

  • Build financial and analytical models to identify measurable insights and developer recommendations to influence and drive consensus across functional leaders..

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a related field

  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to organize project communications, business data, metrics, and deliverables.

  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.

  • Ability to apply financial and mathematical principles to business analysis and decision-making.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and building revenue, cost, pipeline, and business-performance drivers.

  • Working knowledge of AWS Marketplace, cloud partnerships, co-sell and co-market motions, procurement processes, private offers, and channel private offers.

  • Proficiency with business applications such as Jira, Salesforce, Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets


Location: Remote
Duration: 18 months
Compensation: $50/Hour
