Job description

Spanish Translator – Paid Media & Manufacturing Focus (Part-Time)

About the Role

We’re seeking a Mexico Spanish Translator with experience in digital marketing and the manufacturing sector. This role focuses primarily on reviewing and refining machine translations, not creating net-new copy. The ideal candidate understands how language impacts paid ad performance, SEO keywords, and landing page conversion — ensuring our localized marketing materials sound natural, accurate, and industry-appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate and localize Google Ads, landing pages, and related web content from English to Mexican Spanish.
  • Conduct human reviews of machine-translated copy for clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Develop and maintain a glossary of marketing and manufacturing terms.
  • Review and validate translated web copy for tone and correctness (in collaboration with internal teams).
  • Ensure all translations align with the existing brand style guide.

Qualifications:

  • Native-level fluency in Mexican Spanish and strong English proficiency.
  • Preference for familiarity with the manufacturing sector, e.g., terminology related to industrial equipment and machinery.
  • Proven experience in marketing translations, ideally with paid media (Google Ads, SEM)
  • Understanding of SEO, digital advertising terminology, and conversion-focused writing.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently on an as-needed basis.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Google Ads, landing page platforms, or digital asset management tools.
  • Prior experience validating translation glossaries or linguistic QA.

Location:

Remote
Schedule: Part-time / On-demand (a few hours per week as needed)
Compensation: $40/Hour
