Social Marketing Specialist

The Sage Group’s client, an American online video-sharing platform is looking for a Social Marketing Specialist to join their Social Marketing team and help bring their Shopping feature to life across social. This role will primarily support their creator program across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X/Threads, as well as opportunities to support major partner and seasonal campaigns.
The ideal candidate is a social-native marketer who understands creator culture, loves great content, and is highly organized. You’ll work closely with internal teams, creative agencies, creators, and partners to develop and execute engaging social content.


Responsibilities

Social Content & Editorial

  • Support the development and execution of social content and editorial calendars for our client’s Shopping feature.

  • Help turn shopping features, creator success stories, and monetization opportunities into engaging, creator-first content.

  • Develop creative briefs, social copy, scripts, and content concepts across video, static, and carousel formats.

  • Stay current on creator and social trends and bring new ideas to the team.

Creator & Campaign Support

  • Support social campaigns with creators and commercial partners, from briefing through content delivery.

  • Help identify and coordinate creators based on campaign objectives and audience fit.

  • Partner with agencies and creator managers to manage briefs, timelines, feedback, and deliverables.

  • Support social content capture and creator activations at key events and seasonal moments.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Coordinate content reviews and approvals across marketing, communications, legal, agencies, and partners.

  • Ensure content meets brand, platform, and FTC disclosure requirements.

  • Help manage asset tracking, calendars, approval decks, and campaign workbacks.

  • Support paid amplification, usage extensions, and creator content clearances as needed.

Measurement & Optimization

  • Monitor social performance and partner with analytics teams to understand what’s working.

  • Contribute to weekly reporting, campaign recaps, and post-campaign learnings.

  • Use insights and platform trends to help improve future content.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–6 years of experience in social media, creator marketing, digital marketing, influencer marketing, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of YouTube, Instagram, Shorts/Reels, and creator culture.

  • Experience working with creators, agencies, or social-first campaigns.

  • Interest or experience in e-commerce, affiliate marketing, or creator commerce is a plus.

  • Strong creative instincts and ability to write clear, engaging social copy.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams, agencies, creators, and external partners.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Familiarity with social analytics and tools such as Google Workspace, Sprinklr, Brandwatch, or native platform analytics.

Duration: 12 Months/ opportunity to extend
Pay: 180K Salary with benefits
