The Sage Groups’ Client is seeking a social media manager to own their social media presence and build a best-in-class influencer program. As the social lead for our flagship product, this person will be equally comfortable crafting platform-native content strategy and managing a portfolio of creator and executive partnerships. You’ll set the tone for how our brand shows up across social channels — and how our people and partners amplify it.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy across key platforms (LinkedIn, X, YouTube, etc.).

    • Manage day-to-day execution of social media calendar and audience engagement.

    • Develop social plans for major product launches, events, and initiatives.

    • Own the LinkedIn newsletter as a key owned-media channel.

  • Lead a comprehensive influencer strategy:

    • Lead an employee advocacy program that activates employees as authentic brand ambassadors

    • Manage creator partnerships and external content collaborations.

    • Partner with executives to develop their thought leadership presence on social.

    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to cultivate relationships with industry voices and analysts to amplify brand credibility.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify social opportunities, including product marketing, campaigns, events, content, and creative teams.

  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics to optimize strategy and demonstrate impact.

  • Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging channels.

Experience/Skills Required

  • 5+ years experience managing social media or influencer marketing.

  • Deep working knowledge of social best practices across popular social media platforms.

  • Experience building or scaling influencer/advocacy programs from the ground up.

  • Exceptional writing skills and ability to craft compelling posts/campaigns for complex products.

  • Proficiency with tools, such as Figma, Photoshop, and Canva.

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills — with executives, creators, and external partners.

  • Data-driven mindset with fluency in social analytics tools.

  • Ability to adapt and flex as priorities evolve. Things move fast here!

  • Portfolio required.

  • Bonus: Basic Video editing.
