Job description

One of The Sage Group’s clients is looking for a Social Media and Community Engagement Strategist, from high growth B2B SaaS AI. Experienced with LinkedIn and YouTube. The Client is a generative artificial intelligence product developed for the legal industry.

  • Own client’s organic social media strategy, editorial calendar, and publishing across LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels (Reddit, G2, others). Contribute to client’s paid social strategy.
  • Develop content formats (short-form video, posts, thought leadership amplification) that drive reach, engagement, and customer advocacy.
  • Partner with the broader marketing team to amplify customer stories, product updates, and thought leadership.
  • Explore and test new channels where legal and AI conversations are happening.
  • Stand up social listening and reporting tools; track performance, share insights, and refine strategy.
  • Engage directly with our community and influencers—sparking conversations, amplifying advocates, and building client’s reputation as the trusted voice in AI for law.
  • Manage agency partners or freelancers to scale execution as needed.

Experience:

  • 4-8 years experience owning social media and community engagement strategies in a high growth company, mainly using LinkedIn and YouTube in B2B SaaS, AI and startups a plus, agency background a plus
  • Content and Social listening experience
  • Experience building customer review program, to share user generated voice

Duration:

4-6 months plus extension and contract to hire potential
Location: hybrid to office in either NY or San Francisco CA, 2-3 days a week
Compensation: $50-70/hr
