One of The Sage Group’s top clients is looking for a Sr Research Manager, strong with custom quantitative research, program management, stakeholder management and execution e2e. The client provides a leading video platform.

Play a pivotal role in supporting the client around parent and youth responsibility.
Requirements:
Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence. Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills; superior skills analyzing data in spreadsheets and cross-tabs; finds patterns in the data and extracts insights that will inform product/marketing strategy. Ability to think globally/big picture while being results-oriented. Ability to tell engaging stories using insights. Ability to collaborate effectively and demonstrated ability to be a team player. Advanced level of proficiency in PowerPoint or Google Slides. Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
• Consult with internal stakeholders on business questions and translate into qualitative and quantitative research methodologies that will define value propositions, positioning, messaging and naming, feature optimization and external communication
• Project manage research projects with research vendor partners and internal stakeholders. This includes things like writing research briefs, reviewing research vendor proposals, ensuring internal cross-functional team feedback is incorporated into survey designs, briefing research agencies on research objectives, guiding development of questionnaire, working with local internal teams on survey translations, providing guidance/recommendations on analytical plans and report development.
• Translate research vendor report into internal facing presentations that succinctly highlight the key learnings and implications
• Present research findings to internal teams at all levels
• Manage ad hoc research requests
Minimum Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of custom quantitative marketing research experience on the agency side or CPG or polling a plus, qualitative research a plus
• Strong with consumer insights, creative, testing, concept testing, foundational/exploratory, co-creation
• Excellent working knowledge of research design and methods (IDIs, focus groups, surveys, statistical analyses, etc.) and when to apply them
• Demonstrated skills in project management and stakeholder management and great with details and giving you POV, effective in fast paced environment
• Experience executing global research
• Proactive, decisive, and flexible, able to operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and collaborative environment
• Strong data analysis and data storytelling skills
• Ability to link insights to strategy and translate complex ideas into simple and intuitive communications
• Experience mining & analyzing data from, behavioral, social and 3rd party research vendors
Location: 100% remote in USA
Duration: Through EOY to start, plus strong extension potential
Compensation: $70-80hr DOE
