Safeguards Enforcement Operations Specialist

The Sage Group’s client is seeking a detail-oriented Safeguards Enforcement Operations Specialist to help maintain the integrity and safety of our AI systems. This role will focus on reviewing user interactions, labeling data, enforcing policy guidelines, and partnering cross-functionally to strengthen operational safeguards.

Responsibilities

• Review customer signals, user interactions, and code for potential policy violations.

• Apply established safeguards workflows and policy guidelines accurately and consistently.

• Partner with Strategy Analysts, Policy Managers, and Threat Intelligence Investigators to identify emerging trends and potential policy gaps.

• Flag content and patterns that may support classifier refinement and broader safety improvements.

• Prepare clear weekly reporting on operational workflows, trends, and enforcement activity.

• Support customer communications and appeals related to policy enforcement decisions.

• Provide surge review support, content labeling, and cross-functional triage as business needs arise.

• Respond to internal requests with timely analysis, context, and operational support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in content moderation, Trust & Safety, safeguards operations, or a related field.

• Experience enforcing policies on a digital platform or within a technology environment.

• Understanding of AI ethics, responsible technology deployment, and user-risk analysis.

• Experience analyzing user behavior, identifying risk signals, and escalating potential issues.

Compensation: $145/Hour
