Messaging Marketing Strategist – Email & In-Product Messaging

The Sage Group’s client, a leading Enterprise SaaS company, is looking for a Messaging Marketing Strategist to join our Performance Crossflow team. Reporting to Head of Performance Crossflow, this person will be responsible for driving Email and IPM Strategy initiatives to deliver best-in-class customer experience and measurable business results. The role will design campaigns for emails and IPMs and own the improvement recommendation based on data insights and campaign performance. This role partners with internal teams under Performance Marketing, and business teams to deliver programs supporting funnel goals and optimize the experience on an on-going basis.

What you will do:

  • Design email and in-product messaging strategy that aligns with objectives through effective messaging, personalization, and audience segmentation.
  • Strategize with stakeholders to implement / improve email and in-product messaging programs campaigns by providing messaging strategy, best practices, and testing recommendations.
  • Measure and analyze the metrics related to campaign performance and uncover product signals and optimize campaign activities.
  • Have data driven mindset, with experience of analyzing the data for targeted products and identifying improvement opportunities for the various touch points. – Work with internal motion drivers within Performance Marketing team to provide campaign schedule and result update

Your background:

  • 10+ years of experience in managing email campaigns, strategy and experimentation. In-product messaging or in-app notification experience is a plus. If not able to source 10+, please target at least 7+ years of experience.
  • Experience in implementing complex customer contact strategies, segmentation, and governance across multiple products is a plus.
  • Demonstration of strategic thinking and organizational planning capabilities. Strong analytical skills to understand data and translate it into insights.
  • Proficient in both oral and written communication, with a strong foundation in marketing principles.
  • Possession of problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, large enterprise environment characterized by evolving variables and limited oversight.
  • Ability to collaborate with large number of stakeholders and navigate through sometimes undefined roles and responsibilities with different teams
  • Ability to understand the business context from products and business functions to ensure strategy being wholistic and get buy-in from business stakeholders
  • Ability to work with campaign management team to get technical feedback and implement the strategy

Duration:

9+ month contract
Location: Remote in the US
Compensation: $75/hr. – $80/hr. W2
