Creative Researcher

The Sage Group’s client, the head of creative insights for a beloved online video-sharing company and social media platform, is looking for an experienced creative researcher.
As a creative researcher, you will be responsible for conducting innovative and insightful research to inspire and inform creative strategies for marketing, product development, and brand development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, using various research methodologies to uncover consumer insights that drive creativity and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute both qualitative and quantitative research studies to gather insights on consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor strategies.
  • Analyze data and translate findings into actionable insights that inform creative decisions across various platforms and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and product teams to ensure research findings are integrated into the creative process and deliver high-quality, relevant content.
  • Present research results to stakeholders in clear, engaging formats, using visuals and narratives to convey the findings effectively.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging methodologies, bringing innovative research practices into the organization.
  • Help shape and guide the creative strategy based on consumer insights, fostering collaboration and driving the overall vision.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate complex data into simple, actionable insights.
  • Experience with various research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative), such as focus groups, surveys, ethnographic studies, and in-depth interviews.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey research findings in a clear, engaging manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities with a passion for uncovering new perspectives.
  • Proficiency in research tools and software
  • A strong interest in understanding consumer psychology and its impact on creative outputs.

Duration:

This is a contract role, working with one of the largest tech companies in the world
Location: Fully remote within the United States, EST is preferred but not required
Compensation: $85-90 hourly, w-2
