Copywriter, Web & Enterprise

The Sage Group’s client, a an AI research company focused on developing safe, interpretable, and reliable artificial intelligence systems that benefit humanity, is seeking a Copywriter to support their AI product website and enterprise marketing initiatives. In this role, you’ll serve as a crucial partner to the Web and Enterprise Marketing teams, handling the steady stream of content updates, messaging needs, and copy requests that keep our digital presence fresh and our enterprise marketing materials compelling. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners across Creative, Marketing, and Enterprise teams to rapidly craft and implement copy while maintaining high standards for clarity, accuracy, and brand voice. This role requires someone who can balance strategic messaging with tactical execution, moving quickly on operational requests while maintaining the quality and consistency of our communications. This is a hands-on copywriting role that sits within our Brand Creative team, supporting both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational needs for web and enterprise marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead content and copy updates, page modifications, and feature additions to the AI product website
  • Support product and solution launches across all marketing surfaces including web, sales enablement, and growth
  • Own copy for enterprise-specific pages including solution pages, industry verticals, and use case narratives, working with the Enterprise Marketing team to develop and communicate overarching narratives
  • Ensure enterprise messaging and brand voice is consistent across web, sales materials, customer-facing content, and other enterprise marketing surfaces
  • Help develop and evolve the enterprise brand tone and voice, establishing copy standards that resonate with business decision-makers and technical evaluators
  • Respond to copy requests from stakeholders across the organization, scoping needs, drafting copy, and iterating based on feedback in a timely manner
  • Work with designers and product marketers to translate complex AI capabilities into accessible, compelling narratives for enterprise audiences
  • Handle urgent requests with tight turnaround times while maintaining quality and following established brand guidelines
  • Create and maintain copy documentation including messaging frameworks, tone guidelines, and content templates for enterprise marketing
  • Partner with Sales teams to understand customer conversations and incorporate insights into web and enterprise messaging

What you need to bring to be successful:

  • Have 7+ years of copywriting experience in the tech sector, with demonstrated B2B and SaaS expertise
  • Can work independently to scope, draft, and finalize copy from stakeholder requests with minimal oversight
  • Write with technical precision about complex topics while remaining accessible and engaging to diverse audiences
  • Can write clear, user-friendly copy for help documentation and FAQ content
  • Balance speed with quality, making pragmatic decisions when facing competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Have experience working in cross-functional environments, translating business objectives into compelling copy
  • Have a portfolio showing web copy, long-form content, and enterprise marketing materials
  • Understand how to write for different stages of the buyer journey and various enterprise stakeholders
  • Can communicate clearly with stakeholders and provide realistic timelines for copy delivery
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and take ownership of the quality and accuracy of your work
  • Are excited about AI and can quickly grasp technical concepts to write about them effectively

Strong candidates may also have:

  • Experience writing about AI, machine learning, or other emerging technologies
  • Understanding of SEO principles and content optimization
  • Experience with content management systems and web publishing workflows
  • Previous work with enterprise sales teams and direct exposure to customer conversations
  • Track record of translating product features into customer benefits
  • Comfort with data and the ability to use metrics to inform copy decisions and iterate on
  • messaging
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization

Duration:

6 month contract with the possibility of extending
Location: Fully remote within the United States
Compensation: $ 190 per hour range, W-2
