Community Events Program Manager

The Sage Group’s client is in search of a Community Events Program Manager. As a Community Events Program Manager, you’ll help build the client’s offline communities and contribute to projects that scale user-driven events globally. You’ll support their Community Champions, who form the backbone of the community. These passionate users volunteer to host local events worldwide. They are enthusiastic about the client’s products and practices, guide other users, enjoy building connections, solve complex problems with tools, and drive product use across industries.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as program manager for the Community Events Program, reporting to the program lead Build respect and trust with Community Champions, internal and external teams, partners, and vendors
  • Contribute to engagement and retention initiatives by piloting new event formats and supporting marketing strategies Identify, monitor, and report on program health metrics, helping to build an internal analytics dashboard with community event participation data
  • Collaborate with the broader team to ensure feedback from Champions and community members shapes Community Events initiatives and vendor relationships
  • Contribute to communication flow across partner and stakeholder teams for program improvements and evangelize the Community Events program internally
  • Adhere to community events escalation policies, travel processes, and budget parameters, iterating as needed Manage the Speaker Directory and promote awareness of it

Your background:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Ambassador Programs/Community Program Manager roles where you managed, built and scaled community programs through community events
  • Deep understanding of community and how to engage members through events Proven experience program managing complex programs and efficiently overseeing cross-team projects, with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to develop, implement and improve new processes Adept at managing deadlines and ability to work collaboratively within distributed teams
  • Strong communicator with excellent writing skills
  • You’re energized by building relationships with a diverse group of people and attending user-driven events
  • You have experience working with the client’s tools (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence Cloud, and Trello)

Duration:

18 months
Location: Remote, CST Preferred
Compensation: $54/Hour
