The Sage Group was originally founded as Sage Consulting Associates in 2003 by two executives with experience leading marketing and business teams at a variety of San Francisco Bay Area companies. As founders, Cara France and her business partner struggled to find agencies that could consistently provide quality marketing & business consultants that were able to create great results without a lot of hassles along the way.

The Sage Group’s vision was based on the belief that it was time for a new breed of placement firm – one that takes the pressure off managers and executives. How? By quickly delivering talent based not only on skills, background and track record, but the intangibles that make all the difference – the ability to fit in your culture, ramp up quickly, require little hand-holding, and bring innovative ideas.

Almost nine years later, The Sage Group continues to match the Bay Area’s best consultants, contractors and full-time talent with the dynamic needs of large and growing companies across the Bay Area.

We’ve grown from a 2-person company to one of the largest women-owned businesses in the Bay Area with our founder and CEO, Cara France, at the helm. At The Sage Group it’s not just about what we do, but how we do it and who we are in the process.
